Baseball Around The Clock
Products I Have Found That May Be Useful

As I was scouring the web today looking for useful baseball and softball products I came across two different products that I think may be useful.  Both of the products are Tees, as you know I love tees so this should come as no surprise to you.

The first tee I found was at 21stcenturybattingtees.com.  This tee is pretty impressive and with shipping and handling it cost around $60.00 (High for a Tee I know) but you will never come in contact with the Tee as it pops the ball up for you from a stand that sits low to the ground.  Also, this Tee has the capability to work as a front toss trainer, which we all know is much better then side toss (something you should never do).  I say for the price of this tee (if the return and warranty is good on this product which you will have to check on at their site) this is a very useful addition to your hitting aids as it allows you to move the ball around in the strike zone and unless you drop the tee or smash it on purpose you should never come in contact with the tee, which means it should last.  If you try it out let me know what you think.

Product #2 is a TeeI found at swingbuster.com and is called the swing buster.  This Tee is priced at 159.00.  This price is for the team model that will accomadate both left and right handed hitter without any changes.  This is a little high for my liking but it does have some useful options.  Also, they have a single model which is 99.95 that can be set up for left and right handed hitters just not at the same time.  Just like the first Tee it too shoots the ball in the air (neither tee requires electricity), but the swing buster has a stride stopper so you will not take your front foot too far.  This tee also promotes the fact that it will help you keep the hands back until the foot plant.  I have only seen this Tee online and have not used the tee yet but I think it may be slightly limiting in the fact it looks like you will not be able to set the tee up for inside or outside pitches.  It looks like by design this tee is simply a swing trainer that you would use on middle pitches.  It looks like it could be useful and I like the idea behind the tee but as a consumer I would go ahead and get more information before you were to make this purchase.

If anyone has actually tried these tees out please let me know.  I love tee work and any tee that makes it a little more exciting and may offer a little help as well is something I am all for.
