Weighted Ball: Watch out!!

“Try to stay away from weighted balls. Keep in mind this is just my opinion, but the normal throwing motion with a 5 oz. ball(normal ball) does plenty of damage on our shoulder/elbow. Long toss and hard work in the gym will increase arm strength plenty. I don’t like weighted balls”!!!

I second that motion, weighted balls puts extra stress on your elbow for sure.  I know the thought behind this is the same as lifting weights, the more you lift the stronger you will get.  Keep in mind that the elbow and shoulders are body parts you should take care of, and the weighted ball not only puts extra stress on your elbow and shoulder it does so while they are in very compromising positions.  Let me know what you think, I love to hear from the readers.
